Is it possible to use a separate users table to keep it totally separate from the existing WP site..??

No this is not possible in this version but we are trying to convert this into an API of it’s own using WP Rest API, so that it can be used on any or multiple sites with the same or different database

It will be the update for this now. Once you purchase a product the updates are free for lifetime of the product.
Only the support expires after a certain period.
