is there any realistic date for new version as new version has been in the make for a while now and i am really waiting for it or should i better look for another plugin?

other plugins? i was going on your statement that it would take about a month (couple of months ago) and have therefore not looked for other solutions. so there is no way for you to give an idea of when the new version will be ready?
