Assigning a Ticket

I have a pre-sales question related to a comment from a use above which I quote here:

“Question: If I assign a ticket to a group can I also assign it to an individual as well. For example: Ticket comes in – I assign it to System Group and I need to assign it my manager Jane Doe. If so, how?
Hi, in current version assigning to an individual is not possible.”

Does this mean that I can not assign tickets to individuals within a group or does it only mean that when assigned to a group, I cannot also assign to an individual? In other words, what I’m asking is whether tickets are assigned to individuals within groups or only to the group itself?

If I cannot assign to an individual, how are support agents held accountable?

It is assigned to the individual inside a group (department).
