Creating Custom Field

Is it yet possible to actually get the data from the custom fields? Seems useless to be able to create a custom field, then not have it included in the notification emails right??

You can create extra fields for Submit Ticket form and extra info from those fields would be included on the ticket page on the right hand side of the screen under Extra Information pane.

But those extra info will not be included in the Email Notifications. Emails only contain the necessary info and the link to check the ticket.

Rest, please check our Customize Email section in plugin settings.

That’s the core issue here. Why would I need to create these extra fields and then NOT be able to get the data in the notification emails? A custom field should have a unique field name which should simply be used like the other fields… %custom_field % Maybe you even prefix it, but this seems to go hand in hand with being able to create a “custom field”

I would call it a feature more than an issue. Because you are getting all the necessary and required default fields in the email notification.

But we would give the option to include the custom fields in the email by customizing the email template from the plugin settings in our next update.

BOOM! And that’s why I like working with you guys, you are awesome! Definitely make this change because adding a custom field but not getting it sent to me (which is the purpose of email) is only halfway there.
