Any ETA on the new version and any list of planned new features available?

– Will it possible to deactivate the creation of new accounts when new tickets are created from emails, i.e. to have them as “guest” tickets?

Also:

– Will it be possible to alter the way tickets are distributed to agents? Random distrubution is not always desirable.

– Can a “real” cronjob be set up on the server used to call the script that will retrieve messages from an IMAP mailbox?

The new version would still take at least another month. Probably in this month or by the end of next.

List of new features will be rolled out after the development of the new version is completed, as we got many updates and new features and we will see which ones are most important and which ones can be released later under minor updates on a regular basis.

But the features you have listed above will definitely be included in the upcoming version of the plugin.

Do you also have any plans to make it possible for users to access tickets created by email from different email addresses (i.e. separate user accounts for support users which allow multiple email addresses)? Reason: people often have more than one email address and don’t necessarily always use the one attached to their WP account.

No plans to include this feature yet but we like the idea and we will try and make this possible down the road, as we proceed to elaborate this plugin and make it more and more flexible and customizable.
